Access Consulting Services

Bio-Building Design provides of access consulting services. We have been doing this for the past two decades. We provide reports on the accessibility aspects of proposed Development Applications and Construction Certificate applications, provide advice as to regulatory compliance and undertake building accessibility audits of projects at all stages. We assist with site inspections and sign-offs as required. We are dedicated to helping Clients to meet their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act,  Building Code of Australia and Access-to-Premises Standards in an efficient and  cost-effective manner.

As access consultants, we assist other architects, developers, builders, and business owners in complying with the disability access provisions of the Building Code of Australia and of the Access-to-Premises Standards. We provide design guidance on the needs of people with physical and sensory disabilities. We also assist with design for the needs of the neurodivergent community. We assist with design of buildings to enhance mental health. We offer these services throughout New South Wales.

We have assisted clients with multi-unit residential developments and commercial, industrial, hospitality, hospital and other types of projects, some of which are shown below. We can help with your requirements regarding accessibility issues for any type or scale of  building.

We have assisted in accessibility upgrades of many existing buildings, including several with heritage listing. 

We also prepare performance solutions on accessibility matters under the Building Code of Australia and the  Access-to-Premises Standards when necessary. We have completed performance solutions for several commercial, multi-residential apartment and heritage adaptation projects.
